Despite many studies, there is still no clear answer what is causing these problems. Now, it is known, that dyslexia is conditioned by many factors - syndrome of alterations in the central nervous system. The present paper aimed to review of the neuroscience conceptualisations and results, that focused on the etiopathogenesis of dyslexia. Here showed results from dyslexia researches in the relation of lateralization and dyslexia, including evolution of the theories from neurobiological researches. Moreover, there are also discussed therapeutic methods and their importance in dyslexic children’s cognitive functions stimulation. In this paper showed, that based on current data dyslexia should be regarded as an important health problem.
