FASILITAS KHUSUS PENYANDANG DISABILITAS DAN LANSIA PADA MASJID RAYA MAKASSAR

Abstrak_ Masjid Raya Makassar merupakan salah satu fasilitas ibadah yang sering dikunjungi oleh masyarakat muslim. Fasilitas khusus untuk penyandang disabilitas dan lansia pada masjid perlu diperhatikan guna memenuhi hak-hak mereka seperti manusia normal pada umumnya.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauhmana fasilitas yang aksesibel bagi kaum difabel dan lansia pada Masjid Raya Makassar. Ada 4 prinsip aksesibilitas dicoba diterapkan dalam konteks membuat masjid yang ramah bagi kaum difabel dan lansia yang pada prinsipnya  berusaha memenuhi  azas kegunaan, azas keselamatan, azas kemudahan  dan azas kemandirian. Variabel pengamatan sesuai azas tersebut : ramp dan tangga, rambu-rambu, pintu, handrails untuk area parkir, area wudhu dan toilet serta area shalat. Metode pada penelitian ini yaitu secara kualitatif deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kondisi  aksesibilitas pada Masjid Raya Makassar dikomparasikan dengan Peraturan Pemerintah No.  30/PRT/M/2006, kemudian divisualisasikan dalam bentuk desain. Hasil penelitian bahwa fasilitas dan aksebilitas untuk disabilitas dan lansia pada Masjid Raya Makassar masih belum aksesibel sesuai pedoman dari pemerintah. Berdasarkan analisa tentang fasilitas khusus pada masjid raya akan dihasilkan visualisasi rekomendasi desain untuk 3 area masjid yakni area parkir, area toilet dan wudhu serta area shalat. Kata k unci : Disabilitas;Lansia;Aksesibel. Abstract _ Makassar Raya  Mosque is one of the worship facilities that visited frequently by the Muslim community. Special facilities for the disabilities and the elderly people in this mosque need to be considered to fulfill their rights like normal humans in general. This study aimed to determine the extent of accessible facilities for the disabilities and the elderly people at the Makassar Raya Mosque. There are 4 principles of accessibility that tried to be applied in the context of making mosques that are friendly to the disabled and the elderly who are principled have to be  fulfilled namely usability principles, security principles, convenience principles and independence principles. Observation variables according to the principle are ramps and stairs, signs, doors, handrails for the parking area, toilet and ablution area,s and prayer areas. The method in this study was descriptive qualitative which aimed to describe the conditions of accessibility in Makassar  Raya Mosque  compared to Government Regulation No. 30 / PRT / M / 2006, then visualized in the form of a design. The results of the study were that facilities and accessibility for the disabled and the elderly at the Makassar Raya Mosque were still not accessible in accordance with government guidelines. Based on the analysis of special facilities in Raya mosque will be produced the visualization of  the 3 mosque areas, namely the parking area, toilet and ablution area, and prayer area.
