After examining the expression of these acts in two different samples of native Castilian Spanish speakers and European Portuguese speakers, we have taken a contrastive analysis of the interlanguage of 70 Portuguese learners of Spanish as a foreign language (SFL) of A2 and B2 levels. The results show the variation between the two levels of the communicative development of the SFL students.
