Gauge-Invariant Derivation of the Casimir–Lifshitz Pressure
A new gauge-invariant (by construction) derivation of electric Green’s functions in a system of two dielectric half-spaces separated by a vacuum gap is considered. The derivation of Casimir–Lifshitz pressure is given. We consider a novel explicitly gauge-invariant derivation of electric Green’s functions in the system of two dielectric half-spaces separated by a vacuum slit. The derivation of the Casimir–Lifshitz pressure is given.
