After recalling the technical architecture of the VAMDC e-infrastructure (Sect. 1.1), we will introduce the RDA FAIR evaluation framework (Sect. 2) and define the methodology we adopt to perform our analysis (Sect. 2.1). In Sect. 2.2, we will present the result of this analysis (the fine-grained granularity analysis from which Sect. 2.2 is discussed in “Appendix A”). Assessment of the FAIRness of the Virtual Atomic and Molecular Data Centre following the Research Data Alliance evaluation framework
