Subsequently, CVT was identified on multiphase computed tomography (CT) angiography. His symptoms initially improved but subsequently deteriorated because of intracranial hemorrhage. Cryoprecipitate and tranexamic acid were immediately administered. Anticoagulation was started 24 hours after the onset of hemorrhage. His modified Rankin Scale score was 4 at 120 days after the hemorrhage.</p><p><strong>Conclusion: </strong>Patients with CVT have a higher risk of thrombolysis-related intracranial hemorrhage than other stroke mimics.
