This is a single-center retrospective observational study conducted in adults. It examines the impact of glycemic control and insulin requirements on the outcomes of patients with preexisting diabetes admitted with confirmed COVID-19 infection. This study population is of particular interest because it is a predominantly African American and Hispanic population with a significant incidence of comorbidities.
