Dielectric Nanoparticle Dimers on a Mirror for Enhanced Photoluminescence of Quantum Dots
Hybrid metal–dielectric nanoantennas based on nanoparticle-on-mirror architectures are proposed to enhance quantum dot photoluminescence. Silicon nanocylinder dimers on aluminum substrates enable simultaneous excitation enhancement and directional emission through strong light–matter interactions. The results of this work offer promising applications in single-photon sources, sensing, displays, and bioimaging technologies.
