Preparation and Properties of Anisotropic SA/AM/AA/CNC/Ca2+ Hydrogel Flexible Sensor
In this paper, a SA/AM/acrylic acid (AA)/CNC/Ca2+ double network anisotropic hydrogel was prepared by stretching, remodeling, drying, and ionic crosslinking methods. SEM images show that the prepared hydrogel has an anisotropy. When the CNC content increases to 3 wt %, its tensile strength increases to 0.21 MPa. Its elongation at break is 1344.9%. The tensile strength of the hydrogel pre-stretched by 300% increases significantly. It has good cyclic stability during 10 continuous loading and unloading processes at different strains from 50 to 400% and 200% strain. The hydrogel sensor has high sensitivity (GF = 4.46), fast response (166 ms), and recovery (249 ms). The hydrogel sensor can detect the real-time bending degree of fingers, wrists, and elbows.
期刊介绍:
Polymer Science, Series A is a journal published in collaboration with the Russian Academy of Sciences. Series A includes experimental and theoretical papers and reviews devoted to physicochemical studies of the structure and properties of polymers (6 issues a year). All journal series present original papers and reviews covering all fundamental aspects of macromolecular science. Contributions should be of marked novelty and interest for a broad readership. Articles may be written in English or Russian regardless of country and nationality of authors. All manuscripts are peer reviewed. Online submission via Internet to the Series A, B, and C is available at http://polymsci.ru.
