PANoptosis, a multifaceted process of cell death, involves complex interactions between pyroptosis, apoptosis, and necroptosis. This mechanism mediates cell death via the PANoptosome complex, which combines components from multiple cell death pathways. The therapeutic potential of targeting PANoptosis for AKI treatment is increasingly promising.
