Concerns were raised by a third party of a high level of similarity between this article’s figures and those of an article by the same author group [Mahmoud et al. (2021); https://doi.org/10.1016/j.molstruc.2021.130411] published on 12 April 2021. The editorial office compared the figures from both articles and found that Figures 2 through 8 and their captions were reused from the previous article without proper credit, permission, or explanation within the text.
