A pan-cancer analysis of the oncogenic and immunological roles of THOC3 in human cancer.
There is a Limited number of studies on THO Complex Subunit 3 (THOC3) in tumors. The purpose of this study is to conduct a comprehensive analysis of various types of tumors to determine the role of THOC3 in tumor progression and to investigate its impact on immunity. Retrieved THOC3 expression data from various cancers in the TCGA database and analyzed it using R software (version 3.6.4) and its related packages; explored the differential expression of THOC3 in tumors, its correlation with prognosis, functional enrichment, and its relationship with tumor heterogeneity. The study also aimed to uncover the correlation between THOC3 and tumor immunity. THOC3 is differentially expressed in various tumors and normal samples, and is correlated with overall survival and progression-free time. The study found that THOC3 expression is strongly associated with tumor mutational burden, microsatellite deletion, and immune response. The expression of THOC3 is significantly correlated with immune cell infiltration, and THOC3 can regulate transcription output and mRNA splicing. Therefore, we speculate that THOC3 could serve as a therapeutic target for future anticancer therapies. THOC3 can serve as a novel specific biomarker for diagnosis and prognosis in pan cancer.

•Engineering
Engineering covers all aspects of engineering, technology, and applied science. It plays a crucial role in the development of technologies to address some of the world''s biggest challenges, helping to save lives and improve the way we live.
•Physical sciences
Physical sciences are those academic disciplines that aim to uncover the underlying laws of nature — often written in the language of mathematics. It is a collective term for areas of study including astronomy, chemistry, materials science and physics.
•Earth and environmental sciences
Earth and environmental sciences cover all aspects of Earth and planetary science and broadly encompass solid Earth processes, surface and atmospheric dynamics, Earth system history, climate and climate change, marine and freshwater systems, and ecology. It also considers the interactions between humans and these systems.
•Biological sciences
Biological sciences encompass all the divisions of natural sciences examining various aspects of vital processes. The concept includes anatomy, physiology, cell biology, biochemistry and biophysics, and covers all organisms from microorganisms, animals to plants.
•Health sciences
The health sciences study health, disease and healthcare. This field of study aims to develop knowledge, interventions and technology for use in healthcare to improve the treatment of patients.
