In this study, a new titanium (IV) salicylate complex was obtained capable of catalyzing the polymerization of ε-caprolactone and D,L–lactide with benzyl alcohol as co-initiator. The catalyst was investigated by different methods like MALDI, NMR-spectroscopy and XRD. This new titanium complex has proven to be an effective catalyst for ROP reactions at 120 °C.
