The structural features of these coordination polymers, {[CdL<sub>1.5</sub>(NO<sub>3</sub>)<sub>2</sub>](L<sub>0.5</sub>)}<sub>n</sub> (<strong>1</strong>) and [CdL<sub>1.5</sub>(NO<sub>3</sub>)<sub>2</sub>]<sub>n</sub> (<strong>2</strong>), were elucidated through single-crystal X-ray diffraction and further confirmed by infrared spectra (FT-IR) and powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD). X-ray structural analysis shows that compounds <strong>1</strong> and <strong>2</strong> can be simplified as a honeycomb (6,3) net.
