Determining the ideal integrated performance measurement approach for eco-entrepreneurship in manufacturing sectors
New policies and practices are needed to reduce the pressure on the environment and to achieve the goals of leaving a livable environment for future generations. Eco-entrepreneurship is one of the prominent approaches for this purpose. Various factors are effective in the success of eco-entrepreneurship. On the other hand, studies to measure the performance and success of eco-entrepreneurship are limited. The study aims to fill these gaps by identifying the factors affecting eco-entrepreneurships’ success and performance, assessing their relative importance, and selecting an integrated measurement approach that combines the use of financial and non-financial data. The interval valued p,q-rung orthopair fuzzy decision-making model was proposed in the study for this purpose. "Moral reasoning and ethics" was discovered to be the most important factor in measuring eco-entrepreneurship performance. Furthermore, the “excellence model” was found to be the ideal approach for measuring integrated performance of eco-entrepreneurs. For eco-entrepreneurs, using the excellence model for performance measurement entails assessing their business's corporate, social, and environmental effects in addition to their financial performance. Entrepreneurs in the manufacturing sector should consider ethical principles when creating eco-friendly business strategies.
