This study aimed to explore the experiences of family caregivers of Patients with TBI in Tamale Metropolis.</p><p><strong>Methods: </strong>The study used a descriptive exploratory qualitative approach to understand the experiences of family caregivers of patients with TBI in Tamale Metropolis. Purposive sampling technique was used to select ten family caregivers, and face-to-face interviews were conducted using a semi-structured guide. Data was analyzed using inductive thematic analysis.</p><p><strong>Findings: </strong>The findings revealed that participants experienced psychological effects, including stress, anxiety, and satisfaction in caring for their TBI relatives, as well as social effects like socializing issues, poor relationships, and job-related challenges. They coped through strategies such as adjustments, divine intervention, support from family and friends.</p><p><strong>Conclusion: </strong>The study lays the foundation for future research on the experiences of family caregivers of TBI survivors in Tamale.
