Congenital Sliding Hiatal Hernia in a 5-Week-Old Ex-Preterm Infant With Recurrent Gastroesophageal Reflux Amid the COVID-19 Pandemic

Despite the increasing prevalence of airborne infections such as COVID-19, congenital hiatal hernia should be suspected in preterm infants presenting with respiratory symptoms and recurrent reflux. Barium swallow is helpful in ruling out pneumonia. Antenatal diagnosis is a key to early recognition and timely interventions.
