They usually arise along the course of the nerves in the body. Lung is one of the rarest site for schwannoma, hence making its diagnosis more difficult. Biopsy and IHC play the pivotal role in reaching the final diagnosis. Thereby highlighting the significance of making a conclusive diagnosis of benign nerve tumors in these relatively rare places.
