This study aimed to examine the multiple mediation effect of school violence exposure and school satisfaction between school climate and children’s subjective well-being. A sample of 93,344 children (Mage = 10.95, 49.3% were boys) from 35 countries or regions completed measures. This study employed a serial multiple mediation model. Results indicated that school climate was positively associated with children’s subjective well-being. Additionally, a higher level of school climate was associated with a lower level of school violence exposure, which in turn, was associated with a higher level of school satisfaction, thereby contributing to a higher level of subjective well-being.
