Comparative analysis was carried out against titanium dioxide prepared in the absence of templates. The prepared titanium dioxide was represented by two crystalline phases: anatase and rutile. The synthesis of nanosized TiO<sub>2</sub> in the presence of sodium chloride yielded an aggregate of spherical TiO<sub>2</sub> grains with an average diameter of 19 nm. The major crystalline phase was anatase (&gt;90%).
