Coherent Transition Radiation of a Hollow Bessel Beam
The transition radiation from a relativistic electron Bessel beam has been theoretically investigated. The form factor determining the possibility of realizing intense coherent radiation from a Bessel beam has been calculated. The results for the hollow Bessel and Gaussian beams are compared.
