Multivariable logistic regression was performed to analyze the association between tobacco use and hypertension, adjusting for sociodemographic factors, illness, physical characteristics, and state-wise data.</p><p><strong>Results: </strong>Tobacco users had a significantly higher prevalence of hypertension (8.8%) compared to nonusers (6.57%). Women using tobacco were 1.16 times more likely to have hypertension than nonusers (95% confidence interval: 1.05-1.28).</p><p><strong>Conclusion: </strong>The study highlights the increased risk of hypertension among tobacco-using women of childbearing age in India.
