Assessment of the Effect of the Nature of a Flame-Retarding Additive on the Properties of Films Based on PVA
The work is devoted to a study of a possibility of creating films based of polyvinyl alcohol with improved operational properties that can be used as packaging materials. It is found that introducing flame-retarding additives to the formulation of the films makes it possible to increase their heat resistance, fire resistance, and capacity for biodegradation.
