In this paper, a novel quadrupole coil structure as a receiving coil for static charging of automated guided vehicles (AGVs) is proposed to improve the mutual inductance profile under <i>XOY</i> plane misalignment conditions during AGV charging. The enhanced coil structure effectively reduces the output power and voltage fluctuations. An experimental prototype is established to validate the feasibility of the proposed WPT system.
