Advancing cross-cultural learning in sexual and reproductive health and rights.
In June 2024, this journal announced a new policy on expanding its authorship and readership beyond the African region to all parts of the world, largely due to the need to engage a broader international audience in its discourse in reproductive health. In doing so, we argued that many events in sexual and reproductive health and rights around the world have implications for the African region, and can be used as lessons for advancing and scaling related policies and programs in the region. Reproductive health, being a universal human experience, it is important that there should be no hinderances in sharing related policies, frameworks, and practices as a human right principle as enshrined in several international recommendations.
