Honeycomb sandwich panels have been widely researched and developed in various engineering fields. In the research and development of honeycomb sandwich panels, several notable advantages are evident, including flexibility in composition, a lightweight structure, high stiffness, and good energy absorption capabilities. When using hull construction materials, various types of damage are encountered, including cracks, deformation, and fatigue. Therefore, the material review must evaluate the honeycomb sandwich’s mechanical properties and strength with impact damage and bending loading.
