Misconceptions regarding the spontaneous expulsion rate were prevalent, with 35% of practitioners overestimating the expulsion rate to exceed 25%. The fear of high expulsion was the major concern among more than half of the participants (54.6%, <i>n</i> = 113) who did not accept PPIUCD as a practicable method. Practitioners who had attended workshops were notably more likely to incorporate PPIUCD into their clinical practice.</p>\n </section>\n \n <section>\n \n <h3> Conclusions</h3>\n \n <p>The rate of acceptance of immediate PPIUCD insertion is low among maternity care givers in Jordan. Aim
To assess the awareness, acceptance, and perception of the Post Placental Intra Uterine Contraceptive Device (PPIUCD) immediate insertion as a practicable contraceptive method among maternity care providers in Jordan.
