Diffuse Melanosis Cutis Under Immuno- and Targeted Therapy
In patients with highly advanced melanoma, rarely a diffuse melanosis cutis (DMC) can be noticed. Even though the condition is generally harmless itself, it can have a significant impact on the patient's well-being as an obvious mark of the disease. DMC causes a grey or brown discoloration of the skin and mucous membranes. We report on a young female patient with advanced melanoma, who was diagnosed with diffuse melanosis cutis and a fast-progressing melanoma.
