Three undescribed Schinortriterpenoids from Schisandra chinensis and their neuroprotective effects
Three undescribed SNTs, schisaterpene SU (1–3), were isolated from the extract of Schisandra chinensis. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of HR-ESI-MS, NMR data and ECD calculation. All compounds were evaluated for their Neuroprotective activity induced by MPP+ in SH-SY5Y cells. Notably, compounds 1–3 exhibited significant neuroprotective activity, with EC50 values of 4.46 ± 0.30, 2.76 ± 0.09 and 3.99 ± 0.19 μM for SH-SY5Y cells.
