Wakasa et al. (2025), which provided surface exposure ages of middle-to-late Pleistocene terraces in Northeast Japan, was criticized by Kaneda et al. (2025). We examine the dataset, age estimation methods, and descriptions of Wakasa et al. (2025) in light of their remarks. Even though we acknowledged that Wakasa et al.
