In addition, the use of a trimethylammonium group was found to be insufficient for the generation of a stable zwitterionic Janus diNHC complex. Flash Communication: Heterobimetallic Palladium–Gold Complexes of Janus Di-N-Heterocyclic Carbenes
Two palladium(II)/gold(I) complexes of the Janus diNHCs {1,2,4-triazolidin-3,5-diylidene (ditz) and benzobis(imidazolin-2-ylidene) (BBI)} were synthesized in a two-step approach. In addition, the use of a trimethylammonium group was found to be insufficient for the generation of a stable zwitterionic Janus diNHC complex.
