摘要

撤回:N. Batool, R. M. Sarfraz, A. Mahmood, N. Zafar, M. U. Minhas, Z. Hussain,和U. Rehman,“生物相容性聚合物混合物在pH驱动下递送阿糖胞苷:饲料含量对溶胀和释放动力学的影响”,生物医学材料研究B部分:应用生物材料110,no. 11。7 (2022): 1545-1562, https://doi.org/10.1002/jbm.b.35016。

RETRACTION: Biocompatible Polymeric Blend for pH Driven Delivery of Cytarabine: Effect of Feed Contents on Swelling and Release Kinetics

RETRACTION: N. Batool, R. M. Sarfraz, A. Mahmood, N. Zafar, M. U. Minhas, Z. Hussain, and U. Rehman, “ Biocompatible Polymeric Blend for pH Driven Delivery of Cytarabine: Effect of Feed Contents on Swelling and Release Kinetics,” Journal of Biomedical Materials Research Part B: Applied Biomaterials 110, no. 7 (2022): 15451562, https://doi.org/10.1002/jbm.b.35016.

The above article, published online on 31 January 2022 in Wiley Online Library (wileyonlinelibrary.com), has been retracted by agreement between the journal Editor-in-Chief, Danielle Benoit; the Society for Biomaterials; and Wiley Periodicals LLC. The retraction has been agreed due to concerns raised by third parties. Specifically, the control group panels in Figure 12 were previously published by the same author group without appropriate citation to the previous work or permission for reuse. The authors stated that the same control rabbits were used in both studies and that identical representative images were selected. However, several control group results in Tables 4 and 5 significantly differ from those in the earlier publication, despite referencing the same animals. The authors failed to adequately address these discrepancies. Accordingly, the article has been retracted as the editors have lost trust in the accuracy and integrity of the whole body of data presented in the article. The authors disagree with the decision of retraction.

期刊介绍: Journal of Biomedical Materials Research – Part B: Applied Biomaterials is a highly interdisciplinary peer-reviewed journal serving the needs of biomaterials professionals who design, develop, produce and apply biomaterials and medical devices. It has the common focus of biomaterials applied to the human body and covers all disciplines where medical devices are used. Papers are published on biomaterials related to medical device development and manufacture, degradation in the body, nano- and biomimetic- biomaterials interactions, mechanics of biomaterials, implant retrieval and analysis, tissue-biomaterial surface interactions, wound healing, infection, drug delivery, standards and regulation of devices, animal and pre-clinical studies of biomaterials and medical devices, and tissue-biopolymer-material combination products. Manuscripts are published in one of six formats: • original research reports • short research and development reports • scientific reviews • current concepts articles • special reports • editorials Journal of Biomedical Materials Research – Part B: Applied Biomaterials is an official journal of the Society for Biomaterials, Japanese Society for Biomaterials, the Australasian Society for Biomaterials, and the Korean Society for Biomaterials. Manuscripts from all countries are invited but must be in English. Authors are not required to be members of the affiliated Societies, but members of these societies are encouraged to submit their work to the journal for consideration.
