The catalytic potential of Fe<sub>3</sub>O<sub>4</sub>@SiO<sub>2</sub>-Pr-NH-TDI-VB1 was assessed in the one-pot three-component reaction of phenacyl bromide, thiosemicarbazide, and aryl aldehyde for the synthesis of hydrazinyl thiazole in EtOH:H<sub>2</sub>O (50:50, <i>v/v</i>) at room temperature. The present method exhibits the advantages of a simple reaction procedure, reduced reaction time, efficient retrieval of catalyst for the five runs using an external magnet, ambient reaction condition, and excellent yields.
