Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield is the company behind the project as investor, developer and operator of the new district, which has a total gross floor area of 419.000 square meters and consists of 14 buildings based on designs from numerous renowned architectural firms. This paper describes the buildings as well as the structural challenges of the various load-bearing structures of the buildings and basements in relation to the different usage requirements, showcased from the perspective of planning and construction execution.
