Circularly Polarized Luminescent Halide Perovskites: Research Progress and Prospective
Halide perovskites have recently emerged as promising candidates for circularly polarized light (CPL) emission due to their outstanding optical properties. While ligand‐induced chiral perovskites exhibit CPL activity, their practical application is hindered by intrinsically low luminescence dissymmetry factors (glum) and suboptimal luminescence quantum yields. To address these challenges and advance perovskite‐based chiroptical devices, innovative strategies have been explored. This review systematically summarizes recent progress in CPL emission in achiral perovskites, focusing on four key approaches: i) photonic crystal engineering, ii) chiral material assistance, iii) nanostructure morphology control, and iv) external‐field manipulation. The merits and limitations of each method, highlighting unresolved challenges in materials design and device integration, are critically analyzed. Finally, an outlook on emerging directions for achieving fundamental advances in CPL devices is presented for next‐generation photonic and spintronic applications.
