Hydrosilylborane <b>1</b> is isolated as yellow crystals and characterized using NMR spectroscopy, UV–vis spectroscopy, fluorescence spectroscopy, and X-ray crystallography. DFT calculations of hydrosilylborane <b>1</b> and its structural data reveal unique Si<span></span>H and Si<span></span>B bond characteristics. Preparation and Reactions of (Hydrosilyl)diarylborane
