[Comparative characteristics of the effectiveness of drugs of various mechanisms of action in patients after rhinosurgical interventions].
Introduction: The search and study of the effectiveness of drugs that restore cellular elements, promote the activation and normalization of reparative processes, remains relevant.
Objective: To conduct a comparative characterization of the clinical efficacy of reparants of various mechanisms of action in patients after rhinosurgical interventions.
Material and methods: During the study, 166 patients of both sexes, aged 19 to 50 years, with curvature of the nasal septum and vasomotor rhinitis after rhinosurgical interventions were examined, who were divided into four groups. In the 1st group (n=36), patients underwent standard postoperative nasal care. In the 2nd group (n=44), 0.25% sodium deoxyribonucleate solution was instilled in patients in the postoperative period. In the 3rd group (n=41), patients were given nasal cavity care with 5% dexpanthenol ointment. In the 4th group (n=45) sodium hyaluronate was prescribed. All patients were calculated a generalized indicator of the severity of disorders of reparative regeneration of the epithelium of the nasal cavity based on the severity of the inflammatory reaction, a study of the time of mucociliary transport, violations of crystallization of nasal secretions, calculation of indices of cell destruction according to cytological research. The patients were monitored at the time of treatment, on the 5th, 10th, 21st, 30th, 42nd, 60th day.
Results: In the early postoperative period (5-10 days), there were pronounced and moderate violations of mucosal regeneration. From day 42, the 2nd, 3rd and 4th groups showed a statistically significant (p<0.05) lower level of impairment, a lower proportion of patients with severe disorders of reparative regeneration of the mucous membrane.
Conclusion: When prescribing regenerative therapy in the postoperative period, the proportion of patients with severe disorders of regeneration from the nasal cavity decreases. A solution of sodium deoxyribonucleate and dexpanthenol have a more pronounced regenerative effect.
