In this work, the reactions of a N-heterocyclic carbene-stabilized bromoiminoborane with alkali-metal salts or grignard reagents are reported, which lead to the formation of a series of Lewis base-stabilized amino, alkoxyl, phosphino, alkyl, and alkynyl substituted iminoboranes.
