Mice bled using the tail vein incision reached similar corticosterone peaks regardless of exposure to acute stress.</p><p><strong>Conclusions: </strong>Our findings suggest that tail vein incision can be used to evaluate neuroendocrine reactivity without exposing mice to restraint procedures.
