However, CPR is associated with complications, predominantly chest wall injuries such as rib and sternum fractures. Rarely, intra-abdominal injuries, including liver rupture, can occur, posing life-threatening bleeding risks that require emergent intervention. Recognition of these less common complications can lead to significant improvements in post-CPR protocols and patient outcomes. Raising awareness of visceral injuries after resuscitation highlights the critical need for systematic evaluation and timely intervention. Here, we present a case of a patient with hepatic laceration following CPR with a CORPULS system, successfully identified and managed through a multidisciplinary approach.
