Four previously undescribed clerodane-type furanoditerpenoids, tinosagins A-D (1–4), were isolated from the tuberous roots of Tinospora sagittata (Oliv.) Gagnep., together with 11 known compounds (5–15). Their structures were determined by extensive spectroscopic analyses, electronic circular dichroism calculation, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Compound 1 was an unusual clerodane diterpenoid with 7,8-epoxy unit. All isolated compounds were evaluated for their inhibitory activity against α-glucosidase. The results indicated that 1 and 2 exhibited notable α-glucosidase inhibitory activity, with the IC50 values of 31.83 ± 0.83 and 47.35 ± 0.96 μM, respectively.
