Many organic materials including polyimide (PI), photoresist (PR), photosensitive polyimide (PSPI), OLED emissive layer materials, inkjet printing (IJP), optical clear adhesive (OCA) and undercut pixel definition layer (undercut PDL) have been introduced during the manufacturing process of OLED display. The pol less progress (PLP) technology had also been introduced in the OLED display by replacing the polarizer, which also introduced a few new organic materials such as black pixel definition layer (BPDL), black matrix (BM) and color film (CF) and applied in the OLED display. In this paper, the author had a review on the organic materials used in the manufacturing process of an OLED display, which included the application of organic materials used in the array structure, the emissive layer (EL) structure, the display of things (DOT) structure and the new OLED display based on the PLP technology.
