[Tularaemia is often underdiagnosed].

Tularaemia caused by Francisella tularensis is a zoonosis, and we report two cases of tularaemia. The first patient presented with lymphadenopathy in the left groin, fever, and night sweats four weeks after a tick bite. The second patient presented with fever and a primary ulcer on the thigh and developed secondary pneumonia a few weeks after multiple mosquito bites. These cases illustrate classic manifestations often misinterpreted as other infections, and the importance of thorough medical history including recent exposures, especially in cases with infection of unknown origin.
