What types of research should be carried out in the field of orthorexia nervosa (ON)? Fundamental, applied, comparative, exploratory, laboratory, longitudinal or mixed research? How can we utilize our previous misinterpretations to develop a more accurate understanding of ON? Do we need more research in this field? Eating and Weight Disorders - Studies on Anorexia, Bulimia and Obesity is a scientific journal whose main purpose is to create an international forum devoted to the several sectors of eating disorders and obesity and the significant relations between them.
