Herein we present the regio- and stereoselective C–H arylation of N-vinyl- and N-allyl-lactams using a photocatalyzed Heck–Matsuda reaction. Excellent yields were obtained using only 1 mol% of the palladium catalyst. This methodology represents an excellent alternative to other reported methods.
