In solution, the established pulmonary ventilation protection condition suggested no obvious impact on the detection. IsoIm-SF exhibited high sensitivity, long linear range, high steadiness, rapid response, high selectivity, and low cytotoxicity. In pulmonary cells, IsoIm-SF realized the imaging of both the exogenous and endogenous sulfite. Further, IsoIm-SF might monitor the sulfite level to indicate the pulmonary ventilation protection efficacy, including that contributed by the anesthetic treatment.
