Based on provincial panel data from 31 provinces spanning 2008–2022, this paper empirically examines the impact of digital industrialization on the level of green development and its underlying mechanisms. The findings reveal that Digital Industrialization has a significant role in promoting the level of green development, and this conclusion is still true after multiple robustness tests. Mechanism analysis finds that digital industrialization has the dual dimension promotion effect of financial decentralization and advanced industrial structure promotion, that is, digital industrialization promotes the upgrading of industrial structure through technological innovation to enhance enterprise productivity and market competitiveness, and then promote the level of green development; Furthermore, digital industrialization facilitates the improvement of financial decentralization efficiency, enabling technological innovation to enhance green development and achieve energy conservation, emission reduction, and environmental pollution reduction. 摘要

数字工业化建设是推进制造强国、网络强国、数字中国建设的坚实基础,是推动产业向数字化、智能化、绿色化、服务化转型升级的重要支撑。基于2008-2022年31个省份的面板数据,实证检验了数字工业化对绿色发展水平的影响及其机制。研究结果表明,数字工业化对绿色发展水平有显著的促进作用,经过多次稳健性检验,这一结论仍然成立。机制分析发现,数字工业化具有金融分权和先进产业结构提升的双重维度促进效应,即数字工业化通过技术创新促进产业结构升级,提升企业生产力和市场竞争力,进而提升绿色发展水平;此外,数字工业化有利于提高金融分权效率,使技术创新能够促进绿色发展,实现节能减排和环境污染减排。异质性分析发现,数字工业化可以通过提高技术和金融发展水平来促进绿色发展,有助于实现碳峰值和碳中和目标。
