Moreover, the current situation of related patent research is expounded, and the potential mechanism behind the pharmacological activities of <em>C. indicum</em> polysaccharides is elucidated. Meanwhile, the current limitations in the research on <em>C. indicum</em> polysaccharides have been analyzed, and future research directions have been proposed.
