[A dimensional approach to negative symptoms in psychiatric disorders].
Negative symptoms play a central role in psychiatric disorders, including schizophrenia, bipolar, autism spectrum disorder, and depression. These symptoms, which include social withdrawal, anhedonia, avolition, alogia, and blunted affect, are often difficult to treat and are overlooked in comparison to positive symptoms such as hallucinations. However, their impact on patients' quality of life and long-term functional outcomes warrants in-depth exploration. The transdiagnostic approach makes it possible to study of these symptoms beyond traditional clinical categories. The SNS scale will be used in the French Mind cohort to analyse the prevalence of negative symptoms in the general population and in people with psychiatric disorders. Digital and psychosocial therapies are showing promising results, paving the way for more personalized and effective treatments.
