Additionally, a new junior synonym of Kibakoganea akikoae Hirasawa, 1992 = Kibakoganea akikoae satoi Nagai, 2004 syn. nov. is proposed. Including the new species, genus Kibakoganea Nagai, 1984 currently comprises 18 species globally, and three species are recorded from Thailand.
